Getting Here

Archipelago will take place at the Harbour Towers Hotel & Suites, located at 345 Quebec Street in downtown Victoria, just a block from the Inner Harbour.

Arriving by Air

Flights into Victoria arrive at Victoria International Airport (YYJ), which is located about 20km north of downtown Victoria. Flight discount info is located at the bottom of this page.

The Akal Airporter Shuttle is the easiest way to get downtown to the hotel with luggage; they are located in the baggage claim area of YYJ. The fee is $18/person for one or two people and $13/person for groups of three or more. See below for booking info.

Public bus service is available to downtown via BC Transit, but be aware there’s little room for luggage. Transit time is about 60 minutes to downtown and the fare is $2.50 including transfer. Take the #86 bus from the airport to the McTavish Exchange, then catch either the #70 or #72 to downtown. Take it to the last stop at the Legislature Exchange and the hotel is within walking distance: Walk toward the harbor, turn left on Belleville, left onto Oswego Street, then right onto Quebec Street.

Arriving by Bus

From Vancouver, you can take a Pacific Coast bus to Victoria. Student fares are $16 one-way and $30 round-trip (not including ferry fare of $14.25 each way).

The Victoria bus terminal is only a few blocks from the hotel. Walk past the Legislature on Belleville (with the Inner Harbour on the right), then turn left onto Oswego and right onto Quebec. The hotel is on the left.

Arriving by Ferry

The main ferry terminal is in Swartz Bay near Sidney, which is about a 35-minute drive from Victoria. If you’re driving from the Swartz Bay terminal, here are the directions to the hotel:

Take the Pat Bay highway south to Victoria (it becomes Blanshard Street then goes through downtown)

Follow to Belleville Street and turn right

Turn left (after Legislature) onto Oswego Street

Then right onto Quebec Street – hotel is on left
